GLORYious BURRATA

Ingredients (4 persons)

  • 1 burrata

  • 1 pomegranate

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Mango vinegar

  • Fresh peppermint

  • Edible flowers: borage (fresh; I bought a little plant at the market or dried)

  • Black pepper

  • Sea salt (Lemon & Rosemary salt)

  • Savoury Granola: GR’EAT granola

Are you ready for a super savoury & good-looking recipe that you can pull off in 5 minutes? Perfect for a foodsharing aperitivo as an starter. You can twist the garnishments with your favourite olive oils, sauce, vinegars, herbs, nuts … your imagination will be endless!

  1. Place the buratta on a beautiful large plate.

  2. Unpit the pomegranate: Also struggling to deseed a pomegranate?
    Here is the 10 seconds way to do it:
    1. Cut it in half as normal
    2. Push out the center a bit
    3. Start whacking the back of it with the back of a wooden spoon...Vitamin rainfall 😋

  3. Add pomegranate on top of the burrata, add balsamico vinegar, olive oil, black pepper & seasalt to taste.

  4. Sprinkle the burrata with savoury granola (GR’EAT granola Glory)

  5. Finish off with fresh mint leaves & edible flowers. Eat immediately. Share under good company!
